The Issue and Proposed Solution
In 2013 while Florida residents were asleep, Florida House Bill 569 eliminated the $500 contribution limit to Political Committees (PCs). While residents were sleeping this legislation opened the door for Florida politicians never having to be accountable the We the People again. This still is the greatest attack on election integrity Florida has ever seen. Worse than uncontrolled mail in ballots with no chain of custody and worse than the ghosts in the secret election machines.
PC’s now bringing in Billions of dollars since 2013 all to promote donor special interests. The people of Florida have no idea what is going on. Grassroots candidates now have little or no shot of winning races as all this money was now being controlled and coordinated, like a sophisticated RICO operation, to select candidates that cater only to special interests.
In the 2024 Florida Republican Primary one of these PC’s made a fatal mistake. They sent misleading and perhaps fraudulent mailers the high propensity Republican primary voters. Patriots in 7 counties including Brevard sat up and took notice. While this action disenfranchised grassroots candidates with money coming in from out of the county, God’s light shined on a bigger problem. Grassroot candidates no longer had a chance of winning elections. Organized PC’s working together were selecting their candidates and throwing millions of dollars in dark money to elect their candidates.
There was only one solution that Patriots must now focus on! That focus is to restore contribution limits on PC’s to $1,000 and to eliminate all transfers amongst and between PC’s. That is specifically the action that the Brevard REC is proposing in their recent resolution. This must be addressed and legislation passed as soon as possible to rectify this or We the People will never be heard from again. The Free State of Florida will be lost.
