The importance of free speech
Today we are posting an Editorial about the importance of free speech written by Mike Hoagland the President of the Heritage Isle Republican Club in Brevard County. We must restore free speech if we are going to save the Republic. Take a gander and let us know what you think!

Does anyone ever remember when our first constitutional amendment, granting our right to freedom of speech, has been under such heavy attack? The radical left calls anything they don’t like as either misinformation or disinformation. Speech is how we learn of all the political atrocities the Marxists subject us to. John Kerry, Biden’s Climate Czar, said this year at the last World Economic Forum that America’s first amendment was an impediment to their ability to implement their agenda (radical). Hillary Clinton this September said that they have to change the first amendment that disinformation and misinformation can not be allowed to continue. The Biden press secretary continues to label any question from the White house press pool that she doesn’t like as misinformation. Of course, the corrupt media supports these arguments. The solution is more speech not less.
Last month, there were meetings at the UN in New York. One of the goals was to attempt to get every member country to agree to come under the UN for global governance. This sounds much like the EU whereby the EU officials make law and rulings by which all countries must abide. Additionally, the World Health Organization would become the entity that would declare pandemics and health issues for all global members. Countries would be required to conform to the remedies issued by the WHO. The WHO considers misinformation and disinformation as mental health issues. They would have the ability, along with the UN, to enforce remedies to include prosecutions against violators. Free speech would be dead on a global scale.
Does anyone have a doubt where the Marxists, democrats, globalists or this White House stand on the position I have described? While the media perpetuate the Kamala Harris argument about a women’s right to control her ability to choose an abortion as the most important issue in this election, there are forces at work to alter the entire culture of this country which should be a much more important issue. I think our country’s survival is the most important issue. By the way, abortion is legal and there have been more abortions since Roe v Wade was removed from the constitution. This election will determine our country’s future. We will either be free or we will become governed by autocrats. There will be no more elections as Kamala will be the puppet for the behind the scene puppet masters. Obama is currently pulling the strings. Low information voters and women will determine the results of this election. The democrats are focusing on uninformed individuals of which there are many. What a shame if ignorant citizens elect a Marxist as president. Illegals will be voting in large numbers this election.
Free speech is our main weapon against those corrupt forces that are attempting to take over our country. Informing our citizens, who are receptive to learning the truth, is how we can win this election. Freedom is not free. Evil prevails when good people do nothing. Vote Trump/Vance! It is truly amazing how hard headed some people are when it comes to Trump. He has been censored over the years. When Elon Musk acquired Twitter, he exposed all the government efforts to silence Americans and Trump who dared to disagree with the radicals. Our FBI is infected with corruption on the seventh floor. We now know of their corruption because Zuckerberg and Musk have identified our government’s pressure to censor. Be aware and vote.
