Election Interference! Can “We the People” stop the corruption?
Today we proudly post an Editorial written by Mike Hoagland. We title this post – Election Interference! Can “We the People” Stop the Corruption? At ultramagapatriots.com we have written extensively about this issue and we encourage you to visit our Brevard County and national blogs for more information about this issue. Many of us, including most of Florida’s best election integrity experts, believe that we could get to one day voting with mandatory ID utilizing watermarked paper ballots that are transparently counted by hand , with no machines, or mail in ballots allowed and if we do not fix this problem we will never reclaim control of our republic. So read Mike’s editorial! It is an important read. As always let us know what you think. We have taken the liberty to include one of the mailers Mike is talking about. Check out the RPOF and Brevard REC marks indicating that these candidates were endorsed by both organizations when in fact they were not.
Mike Hoagland Editorial
Well, the special election has come and gone. We no longer have to open our mail box and view all the negative disgusting mailers from a number of the candidates who engage in that kind of political activity. Of course, the winners will tell you that they are oblivious to this political conduct and they are completely innocent. The effectiveness of these negative mailers is such that the best candidates were not elected. These mailers purport that the candidates have the endorsement of many elected or influential people. Oftentimes this is a lie but there is no prohibition for these candidates to do so. Here we think we did our duty by voting for republicans. I am not going to use names in this communication but at some point, in the near future, all participants will be uncovered. The names are known now and Brevard was affected. Almost all the funding for these illicit mailers came from out of county. Every day Americans think political candidates are honorable and believe these mailers and vote accordingly.
Who really determines elections and the agenda of the politicians who are elected? This is the frightening part. Donors determine who gets elected. Tallahassee republican leadership works hand in hand with the donors. Those candidates who buy into the agenda of the donors get the money. When elected, the Tallahassee leadership determines who gets money for reelection and what are your committee assignments. Some may go to Tallahassee with the intention of making a difference but that won’t happen unless one agrees to tow the party line. A newly elected representative can’t introduce any legislation unless it is approved by the leadership and meets with their agenda. It will never get to a committee for a hearing. The RPOF is a willing party to this restriction.
There are groups of America First MAGA conservatives that have identified all the corrupt individuals and donors that contribute to the political corruption that is so pervasive in Florida politics. You have heard it said that to understand what is occurring you have to follow the money. This group has done that and now it is a matter of distributing this information to the public. Remember, the public thinks they vote to determine the political agenda. I hate to inform you that’s not the case.
To fix the system requires transparency in the political process. We don’t have that now. There are two bills for which the Republican Liberty Caucus will attempt to get heard. One deals with campaign finance reform restricting PACs from transferring money from one to another and a bill to restrict candidates from using names, pictures, likeness, video or other campaign related advertisement without the written consent of an individual. This is just the start, but ending political corruption has to start somewhere. The media may become interested. This is, also, a non-partisan issue.
How can voters truly know who is the correct candidate? First of all, get beyond whether or not the candidate is likeable. They are all articulate and likeable or they wouldn’t be a viable candidate. Do your own research. Who do the various conservative political groups support? There are numerous republican clubs that can offer information, “We the People” is an organization that is coming on strong. Ultra MAGA Patriots.com is a great site for content. Brevard News is a great source of information. Rise up!
