Campaign Finance Reform – Draft legislation – 2026 Session -Prohibiting Certain Transfers of funds between Political Organizations.
Today we applaud this important Campaign Finance Reform authored by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida (RLC). This is legislation that “We the People of Florida” need and must require. This legislation has the full support of “We the People of Brevard” and this website. We the People of Brevard is a Brevard County coalition of conservative groups with over 600 members.
This legislation will hopefully eliminate the practice of one Political Committee making contributions to another Political Committee. Allowing such transfers creates DARK MONEY! We have been railing on this issue since the fall of 2024 as many grassroots primary candidates were impacted by this practice. The RLC has sponsored similar Legislation for the past 5 or so years.
We believe this practice disenfranchises the citizens of Florida, We uncovered the depth and horror of this perverse practice in our investigation of MAGA PC which lead us into a deep dive of Political Committee activities and the power brokers in Florida who control so many of them. Make no mistake about this, this activity is one of the key playbook strategies of the donor class in Florida and their captured politicians to do We the Money’s work rather than We the People’s Work!
