Are Developers and their Captured Politicians Hell Bent on Destroying our Brevard County Paradise?

Unless you live in your basement like Joe Biden you have to admit that things are changing quickly in Brevard County. If you drive through the county all you see is development after development going in the ground? We pose this question to Patriots today. Are developers and their captured politician’s hell bent on destroying our Brevard County paradise?

We believe the answer is unequivocally yes! Studies have shown that the rapid development is outstripping Brevard County’s infrastructure. Our county commission and so many other local politicians have turned a blind eye to the development and fail to address the unfunded infrastructure needed to support this out-of-control growth as they are captured by the development lobbyists. Simply put our paradise is at stake and we see massive property tax increases in the future. We must slow this uncontrolled development down and begin to address the unfunded infrastructure costs our captured politicians are not addressing but supporting!

We the People did have a recent win when the County Commission actually opted out of SB 102. See the Brevard blog post on June 13th that addresses this. What also is being ignored is the potential further problems with the Indian River Lagoon, the St John’s River watershed area and our own pristine coastline to name a few.

We urge all voters to study where the Republican Politicians in the Primary you are about to vote in get a substantial amount of their campaign funds from. The answer to that question is local and national developers their attorneys and real estate brokers. They are like kids gone wild making money hand over fist while We the People watch our paradise go down the tubes and get stuck with all the unfunded infrastructure liabilities in areas like water and sewer systems, traffic and roads, public safety schools to name a few. Just today we saw that the National Association of Realtors supported Mike Haridolpolos the Tallahassee lobbyist swamp king for the US House. Check out where this guy gets his money from. Dig into the PACs, and his donor list.

Patriots there are politicians in this upcoming primary that are not at the developer’s all you can eat buffet and care about our paradise, our taxes and runaway uncontrolled development.

Three we believe in that we think you must consider are John Hearton for US Congress, Katie Delaney for District 1 County Commissioner 3 and Kim Adkinson for District 3 County Commissioner.

Do your own homework! Follow the money! Look at where their campaign money is coming from like we have done. It just might make you throw up! Your property taxes and our Brevard Paradise are at stake! Once you see everything that is going on you cannot unsee it anymore. Vote for Republican politicians that put We the People first and will significantly slow down this out-of-control development!
